moonroger50: hdb, 65, Singapore; I like to eat good fruit & vegetable,dancing,walking. watch TV.Cooking Method:Jicama and chicken stew.Ingrediets: 2, chicken thighs cut into chunks,1,small jicama, peeled & sliced,6 dried shiitake mushrooms soaked in water until soft,1 tomato peeled & chopped finely, 1 small piece ginger chopped finely,2 shallots chopped finely,1 tablespoon hot bean paste,1 teaspoon soy sauce,1/2 teaspoon sugar.Method: heat 2 tablespoon of oil in a pot & brown the ginger & shallots,add the tomatoes & hot bean paste, then season the chicken pour in 125ml water & bring to boil add the jicama & shiitake mushrooms, season with soy sauce & suger,simmer for 30 minutes, serve with hot rice
